All My Children ignored Bianca, her marriage, and her children for many months, and the best thing the soap could come up with is an offscreen divorce and custody battle? It’s pathetic. All they had to do was recast Reese when they found out Tamara Braun wasn’t coming back — like they did with Bianca when Eden Riegel didn’t come back. And their excuse for still not recasting Reese is…What? This is what they think “respecting” and “honouring” their relationship means? This show needs a new dictionary. The viewers can accept a complicated and troubled — but optimistic — lesbian marriage if the writers had any interest in that. Why they want to ruin what could be very positive for the show is beyond me.
