Whether Carly is chatting up a lobster or playing drunk, GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Tamara Braun is ready, willing and able to bring levity to her work. “If at any point you cna find something humorous in a scene, you should,” she declares. “After all, soaps are so frequently heavy.” Recounting the chances she’s had to be funny, Braun says. “There have been some hysterical scenes, like the drunken boat scene. Even in regular scenes that aren’t meant to be funny, I try to find something light to play. In real life, people use humor when they feel uncomfortable, are bored, or something strikes them as silly.”
