Tamara Braun and her fans give Carly the shower of her dreams

With her GENERAL HOSPITAL family — Alicia Leigh Willis (Courtney) and Dylan Cash (Michael) — and enemies — Rick Hearst (Ric) and Cynthia Preston (Faith) — at her side, Tamara Braun (Carly) welcomed guests to her first-ever fan gathering. The sold-out house was treated to a baby shower of sorts that included dinner, a silent acution with proceeds going to the Therapeutic Living Centres for the Blind and a candid chat, which had fans voicing their opinions on even Carly’s lack of a pregnancy backside!

Braun asked her guests to write down suggestions for names for the Corinthos baby, due in November. “Then Maurice Benard (Sonny) and I will look at them, see what we like, and bring it to the writers.”

Hearst was put in the hot seat by unforgiving Carly fans. “His punishment is going to come from him being all alone…” he explained, “and he’s going to have to watch their lives continue on happily.”

Super-fan Judy Brandt surprised Braun with a handcrafted quilt decorated with photos of Sonny and Carly that was signed by all the guests. By the way, Benard has a matching one!

Fans got the chance to shop for some of Braun’s favorite jewelry and body scrubs. “Theres some beautiful stuff here, isn’t there?” asked Braun.
